We coordinate a collection of Indian made clothing and homewares. We design a small exclusive range of clothing for women who want to wear interesting clothes that are stylish and comfortable using fabric made from cotton, silk, linen and wool, much of it hand loomed and block printed.
The MOTI collection of homewares includes bedcovers, block printed quilts, cotton appliqué bedspreads and curtains as well as dohars. Dohars are soft cotton voile covers used in summer in India and perfect for hot weather in any country.
Our nightwear is made from the finest cotton voiles, hand block-printed in Jaipur, but easy to throw in the wash. Perfect for all seasons.
The MOTI collection is supplemented by beautiful garments and accessories sourced from Indian designers and artisans.
Exquisite pure wool scarves are made in Kashmir from fine Australian merino wool.
Kantha* comes directly from Self Help Enterprise (SHE) based in Kolkata. SHE provides work for village women enabling them to support their families while sustaining this traditional Bengali craft.
We source wonderful handmade treasures from villages located near the Rann of Kutch in Gujurat. These include Ajrakh fabric, scarves and bedcovers, Bhandani tie and dye scarves, hand-woven throws and shawls.
These products that we now have in stock, have a true “sense of place” embedded in tradition. The work of these artisans is highly valued in contemporary fashion.
